Sealy, Texas - A Grand Home Left Behind

Finding large abandoned homes is always so interesting especially because it just doesn’t seem right to leave a grand place in such disarray…like this one we found in rural Texas! The moment we saw it, we were immediately drawn to its amazing Southwest architecture including tall stucco arches, long top floor balcony, and clay tile roof shingles. Also we couldn’t help but take notice of that extra large satellite dish in the back that looks like it has seen better days. Honestly, we can’t imagine why anyone would want to abandon such a beautiful home…but we do hope someday someone will renovate it! What do you think of this house?
