West Shokan, New York - Hidden Catskills House

During our most recent trip to the Catskill Mountains in New York, we found that amongst the awe-inspiring mountains, lush forests, and quaint small towns…there are quite a few abandoned/decaying places hidden amongst all this beauty! For example, this house that we nearly passed without notice while driving on a random road through the mountains. Now what drew our attention was that amazing covered front porch which we could imagine is the perfect place to sit back and relax while taking in all the amazingness of the Catskills!
