This abandoned farmhouse we found in the small Saskatchewan town my husband spent his childhood reminds us about how the environment is such an important part of an abandonment’s beauty. In a way, it’s almost ironic that the rural decaying places we find are often housed on land that is stunningly gorgeous…it makes us wonder why someone would not want to live there!
