Millbrook, New York - Bennett School For Girls

The Bennett School For Girls is probably one of the coolest places we’ve ever seen! Now finding this decaying place took a little bit of upfront research, but we are so glad we did because there have been rumors circling the Internet that this beautifully designed building is going to be torn down any day now which is such a sad story considering its history. It was originally built in 1893 as a hotel which is what we thought it looked like when we first saw it. However, it eventually became a women’s college by 1907 and remained open until 1978. Since seeing this magnificent place, we can only wish that someone could save this beautiful piece of history! What do you think of this place being torn down?
