Littlefield, Arizona - A Lonely Desert Mountain House
When we were preparing for this Las Vegas trip, one of the things we wanted to see was an isolated house in the desert. We were so used to finding so many of them in the Texas farmlands, that we failed to remember that desert and isolated house was not something that happens frequently. It’s nearly impossible to survive far away from town in those unbearable triple digit temperatures and inhospitable land. But…we found this house! Now it was somewhat near a few houses, though it looked like it was abandoned before the group of houses were developed. We are not sure the owner’s motivation for building this house so far away from others, but we have to believe that the spectacular mountain views had something to do with it! What do you think of this lonely house? Leave a comment…we would love to hear what you think!
