Salt Flat, Texas - Cougar Country House

We do think this abandoned stone house is pretty cool with its expansive land and gorgeous mountains in the background, but what we found to be most interesting is the sign that says, “You are now entering cougar country”! We think what they are talking about are mountains lions…and if that is the case that is scary! From what we know, there are a quite a few mountain lions in West Texas, and we definitely prefer not to run into them! Do you live in cougar country or if you don’t, would you mind living near them?
