Duluth, Minnesota - Stuck In The Water

So finding this building partially submerged in Lake Superior was quite a surprise for me personally because I have visited this area many times as a child and as an adult but never knew this place existed! It truly reminds us how easy it is to miss magnificent sights such as this even if you are only one street over! Now this place situated amongst a high touristy area with hotels all around it was a sand and gravel unloading dock created in 1919 but abandoned in 1922 because of its exposure to the weather off of the lake. Honestly, we have never seen anything like it and have heard that part of the building has already sunk back in February…which means many suspect that it may all disappear sometime soon.
