Loraine, Texas - Wind Turbine Community-Stone House

Finding this abandoned community of cotton field farm houses amongst wind turbines was like finding a needle in a haystack! It was so far from the freeway, but by chance we saw some structures off in the distance and decided to take a dirt road which we are so happy we did…because it led to a series of abandoned houses that we will be sharing for the next couple of weeks. We think that what happened was that the land was bought out by the company that owns the wind turbines and the owners of the houses just left abruptly.
