Searchlight, Nevada - A Ruined Mine
We’re always so amazed when we see ruins that paint a picture of a really intense working environment such as mining. We can’t imagine maneuvering through all of the underground tunnels that were supposed to lead to something as amazing as gold or silver. Even more so, it is difficult to not be moved by the incredible amount of hard work that was done at these mines that helped establish many of the small towns in Nevada. I think it is safe to say that mining was instrumental in creating this great desert state! Do you know of any jobs that are influential in establishing your city, state, or country? Leave a comment…we would love to hear what you think!
