Nelson, Nevada - A Weathered Mining Town House
We’re so happy to be back from our break! We were in Las Vegas, Nevada…a place that I used to call home. Though I spent many years here, I never took the opportunity to explore the local abandoned places…so this trip was quite special. Our first stop was to this interesting little mining town that used to produce a lot of gold, silver, and other metals. Though we didn’t find any gold ourselves, we were excited to see a little piece of history in the form of this weathered house. The canyons in the background…the dry desert landscape…it was so quintessential Nevada! Have you visited Las Vegas or driven through Nevada? What do you think of the desert? Leave a comment…we would love to hear your thoughts!
