After Sunset Windmill + Friday Link Love
We love trying out new ways to capture the beauty of a sunset, so recently we decided to practice the method of pure patience and photograph a sunset after it’s nearly done setting. Here’s the resulting photo…we’re loving the darkness and hint of light from the departing sun! Be sure to also check out these super special links from the web that we found to be most definitely inspirational!
- Imagine photographing the same inner city buildings over the course of 40+ years! That is what one photographer did to document American ghettos. Check out this wonderful article about this project over at DIY Photography.
- It’s pretty obvious that we can’t get enough of photography of abandoned places, so naturally we want to share with you these absolutely stunning photographs by Dennis Minner Photography. He has visited some really amazing abandoned places!
- Oh, the art of framing a photo! We find it to be quite difficult at times with all the different choices we have, so this article on Don’t Take Pictures is really helpful. It’s from the founder of the super stylish Saw and Mitre Frame Company and about how he started his business along with tips for how he designs his frames.
Do you like the idea of taking photos right after the sun sets? What do you think of these Friday links? Leave a comment…we would love to hear what you think!
