Mason, Texas - Slot Window House

One of the main reasons why we love exploring abandoned places is because we love architecture…there’s something so interesting about the way places are built because each design is like a window into the minds of the people who created it. So when we came across this house, we were definitely enthralled with its stunning fish scale shingles, naturally beautiful front porch columns, and unique slot window on the roof. Now we don’t quite understand why this house has a slot window on the roof, but details like this that keep us wondering make us love it that much more!
