Marfa, Texas - Stardust Motel Sign

We love abandoned signs almost as much as we love abandoned buildings…and this one of the Stardust Motel in Marfa, Texas doesn’t disappoint! We love its retro design and turquoise color…it’s definitely what we expected from this hip little town. Now the question is what happened to the actual motel…we couldn’t find it! Though based on our research, apparently the owner of the land has started renovations on this iconic sign and has recently lit it up with plans to have it shine brightly more frequently…neon lights and all.
