Lamesa, Texas - Where's The Skating Rink?

When we came across this faded skating rink sign, we instantly looked for the actual rink…but we couldn’t find it! There were houses nearby and a large plot of land, but that was pretty much it which makes us think about what happened to the actual building. Now when we think of skating rinks we immediately think of ice rinks (we’re originally from the north), but we doubt that this place was anything other than a roller rink because it is Texas. Though it would have been cool to see an ice rink in rural Texas! What do you think happened to this skating rink? Leave a comment…we would love to hear what you think!
